Bunkering De-bunkering Service

Background
The contract is for the fuel bunkering services to U.S. Government owned or chartered vessels or Foreign Government owned vessels at the Tokyo Bay area in Japan. The Contractor shall have necessary crew and equipment to accomplish the bunkering/de-bunkering operation. The Contractor shall be licensed to carry clean petroleum products: NATO F76 and F44 (JP5). The Contractor shall use a ship with cargo tanks that are appropriately coated, are prepared to comply with existing Japanese safety and environmental laws and regulations. The Contractor shall provide suitable hoses for the operations.

Work Details
The contract includes various services such as Bunkering, De-bunkering, Detention Charge, Cancellation, Return Charge, Oil Boom Service, Rental of Extra Hoses, Oil/Oily Substance Removal Services, Tank Cleaning Charge, and Multiple Bunkering Service. The services involve specific quantities and units for each task order. The contract also includes a Post Award Conference where the Contractor shall attend to discuss Contract Administration, Performance Work Statement, and Clarifications prior to starting service.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from 01-OCT-2022 to 30-SEP-2023 with options available for extension until 30-SEP-2024.
