Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

The Center for the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) is seeking the supply of a diverse range of FDA-approved pharmaceuticals. The Contractor, as an independent organization and not as an agent of the Government, shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, facilities, equipment, transportation and travel necessary to deliver the acceptable pharmaceuticals. The Contractor shall provide brand name or equal product for the following pharmaceuticals. Quantities are detailed in the Statement of work in the attached Request for Proposal.

Acyclovir Sodium solution for injection, 500mg (50mg/ml) in a 10ml vial

Doxycycline Inj, Powder, Lyophilized 100mg/10ml

Levophed (Norepinephrine) 1mg/ml in 4ml amp

Meropenem for injection, 1g powder vial

Sodium Chloride for inj. 0.9% 250 ml flexi bag

Sterile water for injection, preservative free, 10ml solution vial

Background
The Center for the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) is responsible for maintaining a national repository of pharmaceuticals, vaccines, medical supplies, and medical equipment.

The SNS aims to ensure the availability and rapid deployment of life-saving pharmaceuticals and supplies necessary to respond to public health emergencies. This solicitation seeks to replenish expired pharmaceuticals to maintain readiness for such emergencies.

Work Details
The contractor will supply the following FDA-approved pharmaceuticals:
1. Acyclovir Sodium solution for injection, 500mg (50mg/ml) in a 10ml vial - Quantity: 27,363
2. Doxycycline Inj, Powder, Lyophilized 100mg/10ml - Quantity: 2,587,893
3. Levophed (Norepinephrine) 1mg/ml in 4ml amp - Quantity: 5,952
4. Meropenem for injection, 1g powder vial - Quantity: 168,000
5. Sodium Chloride for inj. 0.9% 250 ml flexi bag - Quantity: 542,452
6. Sterile water for injection, preservative free, 10ml solution vial - Quantity: 1,961,200.

The contractor must provide brand name or equal products and ensure compliance with FDA regulations.

Products will be delivered to various locations as specified in the contract.
