Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) has a requirement for bulk liquid nitrogen. The Contractor's price must include all costs associated with furnishing and performing all work required under the contract in a complete and acceptable manner. The government intends to award a single Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with firm-fixed-price type delivery orders for this requirement.

A solicitation will follow and posted to this notice. After release, one may download a copy of the solicitation posted to this pre-solicitation notice. It is the contractor's responsibility to check this website periodically for amendments.

Background

Work Details

- Nitrogen Dewars: Up to 15 Dewars may be needed for an estimated total of 30 days in the ordering period. The daily dewar rental price will include delivery fees, permits, and other associated fees.
- Product/Service Code: 6830
- Product/Service Description: Gases: Compressed and Liquefied.
- Ordering Period Five: October 01, 2028, to April 27, 2030, for daily rental of liquid nitrogen Dewars.
- Ordering Period Six: October 01, 2029, to April 27, 2030, for liquid nitrogen bulk storage tank and dewar fills if required.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) located in Manhattan, KS.
