Bulk Linen, Cleaning of Privacy Curtains and Lab Coats

Background
This contract is issued by the Army for hospital laundry services, specifically for cleaning medical linen, privacy curtains, doctor coats, and dietary uniforms. The goal of the contract is to ensure that all medical linen processed under this contract is picked up, processed, and returned within 48 hours. The services are required at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, vehicles, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items necessary to perform hospital laundry services for medical linen and dry cleaning of patient privacy curtains/window drapes. Key tasks include:
1. Processing all medical linen as listed in Exhibits A and B;
2. Ensuring pick-up and delivery of clean linen within 48 hours;
3. Performing dry cleaning services for up to 450 privacy curtains/window drapes per month;
4. Maintaining records of work performed;
5. Adhering to current Joint Commission standards and applicable laws;
6. Providing required deliverables noted in Exhibit C;
7. Ensuring that approximately 1.5 million pounds of Government-owned linen is processed annually;
8. Conducting daily pick-up and delivery services except as otherwise stated;
9. Processing includes washing/drying, pressing, hanging, and folding items;
10. Maintaining a Quality Control Plan (QCP) to verify compliance with contract requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract period begins on September 1, 2025, and ends on August 31, 2030, with options for four additional years.
