Description

This contract is a non-personal services contract under which the personnel rendering the services are not subject, either by the contract's terms or by the manner of its administration, to the supervision and control usually prevailing in relationships between the Government and its employees.

The Contractor shall provide all personnel, vehicles, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform hospital laundry services for medical linen and dry cleaning of patient privacy curtains/window drapes as defined in the PWS and Exhibits, except as specified in Section 3 as Government Furnished Property and Services at Fort Bragg, North Carolina 28310. The Contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, vehicles, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform hospital laundry services for medical linen and dry cleaning of patient privacy curtains/window drapes as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Exhibits. Key requirements include:
1. Processing all medical linen as listed in Exhibits A and B;
2. Ensuring all products are picked up, processed, and returned within 48 hours;
3. Daily pick-up and delivery of soiled/clean items except as otherwise stated;
4. Processing approximately 1.5 million pounds of Government-owned linen per year;
5. Maintaining a system of records sufficient to respond to requests;
6. Complying with current Joint Commission standards and industry regulations;
7. Providing a minimum processing capacity of 75,000 pounds up to a maximum of 130,000 pounds of hospital linen monthly;
8. Ensuring personnel are trained and can communicate effectively in English.

Period of Performance
The base period for this contract is from October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
