Bulk Laundry

Background
This contract is issued by the U.S. Army Health Readiness Contracting Office for non-personal services related to hospital laundry services at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The mission of the agency is to ensure that medical facilities have access to clean and sanitized linen and uniforms, thereby supporting healthcare operations. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive laundry services for medical linen, curtains, drapes, doctor coats, and dietary uniforms while adhering to specified performance standards.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, vehicles, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform hospital laundry services for medical linen and dry cleaning of patient privacy curtains/window drapes as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Exhibits. Key requirements include:
1. Processing all medical linen as listed in Exhibits A and B;
2. Ensuring all products are picked up, processed, and returned within 48 hours;
3. Daily pick-up and delivery of soiled/clean items except as otherwise stated;
4. Processing approximately 1.5 million pounds of Government-owned linen per year;
5. Maintaining a system of records sufficient to respond to requests;
6. Complying with current Joint Commission standards and industry regulations;
7. Providing a minimum processing capacity of 75,000 pounds up to a maximum of 130,000 pounds of hospital linen monthly;
8. Ensuring personnel are trained and can communicate effectively in English.

Period of Performance
The base period for this contract is from October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
