Buildings 570 & 472 Repair Quantum Tech Lab

This action was awarded as and 8(a) Sole Source Set-Aside under the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act.

The contractor shall furnish all parts, material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the work for Building 570 and 472 Repair Quantum Tech lab Room 1141, Repair M23. The work shall include the following requirements listed in the specific requirements. The contractor shall assure the attached waste summary checklist and DD Form 1354 are completed within three (3) working days of place in service date and submitted to USACE and Kirtland AFB Real Property office to get it staffed to the BCE for signature, at the conclusion of the project.

1. Demolition
   1. Contractor shall remove electrical fire alarms in B570 room 1141.
   2. Contractor shall remove thermostat in B570 room 1141.
   3. Contractor shall remove light sensor in B570 room 1141.
   4. Contractor shall remove existing power whip in B570 room 1141 and install duplex receptacle with cover plate.
   5. Contractor shall remove and salvage existing furniture in B570 room 1141 to facility manager.
   6. Contractor shall remove and discard existing carpet in B472 M23.
   7. Contractor shall disconnect existing workstations from power whips and power poles in B472 M23..
   8. Contractor shall remove and discard existing workstations and power poles in B472 M23.
2. Construction
   1. Contractor shall construct new wall and paint to match existing in B570 room 1141.
   2. Contractor shall provide and install new door and frame with sidelight in B570 room 1141.
   3. Contractor shall provide and install HVAC return air diffuser in B570 room 1141.
   4. Contractor shall provide and install HVAC supply diffuser, connect to existing supply duct work, and comfort balance HVAC system in B570 room 1141.
   5. Contractor shall move salvaged electrical fire alarms to existing walls in B570 room 1141.
   6. Contractor shall move salvaged thermostat to new wall in B570 room 1141.
   7. Contractor shall provide and install new light switch to match existing in B570 room 1141.
   8. Contractor shall provide and install new carpet tiles in B472 M23.
   9. Contractor shall patch and paint existing walls in B472 M23.
   10. Contractor shall connect new government provided workstations to power whips in B472 M23.
   11. Contractor shall connect new government provided power poles to government provided workstations.
   12. Contractor shall connect new government provided power poles to government provided workstations in B472 M23.
   13. Contractor shall install two (2) new drops for NIPR, cable to be cat 6 green and two (2) drops for DREN, cable must be cat 6 purple, in B472 M23. Terminate cables per comm. notes on sheet G-000.
   14. Contractor must supply phone, NIPR and DREN to new workstations in B472 M23. Populate with one (1) phone, one (1) NIPR, cable to be cat 6 green and one (1) DREN, cable must be cat 6 purple. Terminate cables per comm. notes on sheet G-000.
