Building Local Commodity Security Systems (BLOCS)_Request for Information   2

Background
USAID/Zambia is working closely with the Zambian Government through the Ministry of Health (MoH) and ZAMMSA to establish and operate a safe, secure, reliable and sustainable supply chain of pharmaceuticals, laboratory and other health commodities. To effectively achieve a sustainable supply chain, USAID/Zambia seeks to develop a pool of local organizations that will strategically provide supply chain technical assistance to MOH, ZAMMSA and service delivery points to ensure commodity security and sustainable access to HIV, TB, Malaria, family planning and maternal and child health services and commodities.

Work Details
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is seeking input from Zambian organizations with capabilities of providing pharmaceutical systems strengthening services. This RFI is soliciting information from the local industry on its ability to provide pharmaceutical systems strengthening services from interested organizations. It supports USAID’s localization and sustainability efforts by helping us better understand the capabilities and capacity that exist within the Zambian market so we can better utilize the local market in the future.
