Only M&R MACC Contractors listed on the General Requirements cover page may submit a proposal for this ROICC Camp Lejeune area of responsibility project. See attached documents for scope of work and any applicable drawings.

The contract is issued for the repair and maintenance of buildings FC478 and FC481 located at MCB Camp Lejeune, specifically in the French Creek area. The project aims to enhance the living conditions within these barracks by addressing necessary paint and flooring repairs. The contractor is responsible for ensuring that all work complies with the general requirements outlined in the solicitation documents.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment, and supervision required to accomplish the following tasks:

1) Prepare, paint, and replace flooring systems in buildings FC478 and FC481.

2) Paint all previously painted surfaces throughout the interior and exterior of both buildings, including walls, doors, door frames, and window frames.

3) Repair cracks, holes, and damaged surfaces to ensure a solid foundation for painting. Significant repairs (greater than 50 S.F.) must be noted in the project area description.

4) Clean and treat mold and mildew areas prior to finish coating application.

5) Apply appropriate finish surfacing compounds to damaged surfaces to match surrounding finishes.

6) Replace any damaged or rotten trim boards, siding, or moldings as specified.

7) Secure loose trim boards or moldings that are not damaged.

8) Prime all repaired surfaces with latex KILZ 2 or equivalent unless otherwise noted.

9) Apply two coats of latex paint (semi-gloss for metal surfaces; eggshell/satin for interior walls; semi-gloss for wood trim/doors; polyurethane finish for natural wood finishes).

10) Apply two coats of Loxon masonry coating on exterior masonry surfaces unless otherwise specified.

11) Ensure high bay areas receive two coats of high gloss coating for maximum illumination. Additional requirements include proper protection of furniture during work, removal/reinstallation of electrical covers, repainting exposed piping with proper markings, cleaning overspray from surfaces, and special scheduling to manage access to work areas.
