Building 1619 Renovation at NAS JRB Fort Worth   2

General Description

Renovate existing building 1619 at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth to create space for Security Forces and 301 Air Force Office of Special Investigations. The building will be fully gutted except for the existing structural frame, envelope, subflooring, and slab-on-grade. The building will then be upgraded to be fully accessible.

The renovations and alterations will be completed in compliance with the Government provided A&E design specifications and drawings. Construction requirements include, but are not limited to the following:

demolition

mechanical/HVAC,

electrical

plumbing

haul away of waste material

Contract Type: Single Award, Firm Fixed Price

In accordance with FAR 36.204 and DFARS 236.204, the magnitude of construction for this requirement is between $3,000,000 and $6,000,000.

The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220 with a SBA size standard of $39.5 million.

This requirement is currently unfunded, and no award will be made prior to the availability of funding.

The solicitation will be issued at https://sam.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation, specifications, plans, or bidders mailing list will be issued from this office. Telephone requests will not be accepted. All inquiries shall be via email only. Prospective contractors must register on the SAM.gov site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. The purpose of Amendment 0001 is to add B1619 Geotechnical Evaluation Report - 11 Oct 21 to the solicitation attachments.

The purpose of Amendment 0002 is to add the Asbestos Report Oct2009 to the solicitation attachments.
