Buckley SFB - Daikin Chiller Servicing

Background
The 460th Civil Engineering Squadron at Buckley SFB is seeking a qualified contractor to perform a recovery project on three 200-ton Daikin air-cooled chillers, specifically Model AWV014AFFNGGN00. These units have been operational since their installation in 2018 and require updates to the latest stable manufacturer software release, calibration of sensors, integration with the existing Building Automation System, and diagnosis and repair of a known compressor degradation issue.

This contract is not for standard maintenance but for a one-time corrective requirement aimed at resolving issues from the original installation and ensuring safe recommissioning of the units.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Update the software on all three chillers to the latest version.
- Calibrate sensors and actuators to ensure proper operation.
- Adjust settings to optimize performance with the existing Building Automation System (BAS).
- Conduct a complete annual inspection of each chiller, including checking for leaks and equipment damage.
- Diagnose and rectify known compressor degradation issues on Chiller 1.
- Perform operational checks and system safety checks after completing all work.
- Provide a deficiency report detailing any compromised components or units requiring further attention post-recommissioning. If additional work is needed, a detailed report justifying such recommendations must be provided.

Period of Performance
The service shall be completed within 30 calendar days after receipt of award.

Buckley SFB, Colorado.

Bidder Requirements
This opportunity is a Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA). Bidders must possess the necessary software tools, licensing, and diagnostic equipment to flash firmware and troubleshoot compressors without voiding warranties. All contractor employees must pass a background check to enter the installation site.
