The U.S. Air Force 509th Contracting Squadron at Whiteman AFB, MO is posting this Sources Sought to find potential vendors of Bucket Truck Repair that meets the specifications of the attached draft statement of work.

SUBMISSION DETAILS:

  • Please include a statement of work, showing the capabilities of the offered repair.
  • Identify any certifications that would be needed
    • Please identify any Brand Name or Sole Source Restriction that might be needed to service an ALTEC AM800 Truck
  • Offeror questions due by 16 April 2025.
  • Offer must include a projected estimate of cost.

Background
The U.S. Air Force 509th Contracting Squadron at Whiteman AFB, MO is seeking potential vendors for Bucket Truck Repair services. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the ALTEC AM800 Truck is maintained and certified for serviceability, meeting all necessary specifications outlined in the draft statement of work.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to replace out-of-date leveling cables and refinish upper boom spiral cracks. The objectives include:

1) Refinish upper boom and spiral cracks;
2) Replace out-of-date leveling cables;
3) Perform a structural load test;
4) Perform a dielectric test;
5) Conduct an operational test after repairs are completed; and
6) Certify that the truck is serviceable for all types of repairs. The contractor must furnish all required materials and equipment to complete these services.

Place of Performance
Repairs will be conducted at the contractor's facility after the U.S. Government delivers the vehicle (ALTEC POLE TRUCK 03C00737) for repair.
