Description

1. Cannon AFB is searching for potential contractors that can provide computer support technician services IAW the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Cannon is seeking information from interested parties that can provide the requirements below. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.Gov) database to be awarded a DOD contract. The product service code for this is DA01- IT and Telecom Business Application/Application Development Support Services and the NAICS for this action is 541513-Computer systems facilities (i.e., clients' facilities) management and operation services (size standard: $37 million). This is projected to be a base year plus four option years contract.

2. The contractor shall remain current on methods and procedures within the Information/Computer Technology support community. Proof of experience (two to five years) in both hardware and latest software applications. The individual performing the work must be capable of passing a DoD security clearance at the "Secret" level or above. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state, and federal regulations, international agreements, Status of Forces Agreements (SOFA) and appropriate Final Governing Standards (FGS) or, in their absence, the Overseas Enviromental Baseline Guidance Document (OEBGD)

3. This announcement is a Sources Sought and is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ). We will not be entertaining questions at this moment as this is a Sources Sought. This announcement does not commit the government to award a contract now or in the future. There is no solicitation or funding currently available. Additionally, the government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources because of this Sources Sought announcement. The result of this Source Sought will be utilized to determine if there are enough vendors capable to provide integrated solid waste management services IAW the performance work statement. In addition, this market research tool can be used to identify potential and eligible firms, of all sizes, prior to determining the method acquisition and issuance of a solicitation. This is projected to be a small business set-aside, all small business set-aside categories will be considered. Attached is the DRAFT of the performance work statement for this requirement, to allow for a better idea of work to be expected. It is subject to adjustments as necessary.

Background

Cannon is seeking information from interested parties that can provide the requirements below. Work Details
The contractor shall provide hardware and software system administrative support to include Local Area Network (LAN), and maintenance on all computers for the BTES office to include servers, fax machines, receivers, switches, routers, printers and other peripherals critical to proper function of Cannon AFB BTES technology systems. The contractor shall maintain clear, concise, and effective communications with BTES office, Unit personnel and leadership groups; must adhere to and follow Department of Defense Instructions (DoDIs), Air Force Instructions (AFIs), Personnel Services Delivery (PSD) Guides and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). All tasks shall be accomplished (IAW) the aforementioned regulations and the local computer/technology guidelines. The Air Force Instructions (AFIs) will be made available upon request as a guide to accomplish the referenced tasks in this PWS.

This is projected to be a base year plus four option years contract.
