The goal of this contract is to secure a vendor for Vegetable Transplant Services, specifically for broccoli, to support agricultural operations at the Lompoc Farm. Work Details
The contractor will provide Vegetable Transplant Services under three scenarios:

1) Fully Outsourced Broccoli Transplant Services: The contractor will grow broccoli plants from seed provided by FPI, transport seedlings to the UNICOR Farm, and transplant them at a specified population rate of 36,682 plants per acre. Weekly plantings will start at four acres and can expand to fourteen acres per week.

2) Verimark Treatment: The contractor will perform a chemical dip treatment on designated transplants using Verimark® insect control or an equivalent product as directed by FPI. The contractor must ensure proper handling and application according to safety guidelines and regulations.

3) Additional services may include transporting seedlings or performing both transplanting and transportation tasks as needed. All transplants must adhere to Primus lab food management guidelines, with operational hours set between Monday and Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Invoices will be submitted monthly based on actual transplanted plants.
