Background
The Army Contracting Command New Jersey in support of Fort Devens MA 01434 has a requirement for Broadband Services. Work Details
Introduction. This is a non-personal services contract to provide Broadband Internet to the United States Army Garrison (USAG) Devens Reserve Forces Training Area. The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers. The Contractor shall perform to the standards specified in this Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Background. USAG Devens Reserve Forces Training Area (DRFTA) is an Army Base located 30 miles northwest of Boston MA within Middlesex and Worcester Counties in Devens, MA that consists of approximately 5,085 acres and over 100 buildings. The Main Post of the former Devens was established in 1917 as Camp Devens and was downsized and realigned in 1996 as Devens Reserve Forces Training Area (DRFTA) as part of the 1991 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) process. The present mission of the installation is to provide training and other support to Reserve Components of the Army within the six New England states. The population of the base consists of approximately 800 military, Government civilian, and Contractor personnel, as well as an average weekend population of about 2,000 reserve military personnel.

Period of Performance
The PoP shall be for one (1) base year of 6 months. The PoP is as follows: Base Period 15 June 2024 – 14 December 2024

Place of Performance
Place of Performance. The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at Devens RFTA.
