Background
The solicitation is for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for multi-discipline Architect-Engineer (A-E) services for inspection, structural engineering, and design for bridge structures at Navy and Department of Defense (DoD) installations worldwide. The contract will be procured under 40 United States Code (USC) Chapter 11, Selection of Architects and Engineers, as implemented by Subpart 36.6. The contract will have an ordering period of sixty (60) months with a total fee not to exceed $12,000,000 and a guaranteed minimum of $10,000. The estimated start date is September 2024. This proposed contract is being solicited exclusively as a 100% total small businesses set-aside.

Work Details
The types of A-E services expected to be performed under this contract include topside and underwater bridge inspections, bridge load capacity analysis and load ratings, analysis of existing conditions and comparison to previous inspection reports, design of bridge repairs, field investigations and underwater inspections, engineering analyses of bridges’ structural, mechanical, and electrical systems, review of construction plans and specifications, environmental studies in support of permit applications to federal, state, and local regulatory agencies, documentation of findings and report preparation, cost estimation for bridge rehabilitation, construction and installation schedules development, underwater geotechnical and above water surveying.

Period of Performance
The IDIQ contract will have an ordering period of sixty (60) months. The estimated start date is September 2024.
