Bridge to Evolution STE TESS (BEST) Multi Award Contract (MAC)   2

Background
The Bridge to Evolution STE TESS (BEST) Multi Award Contract (MAC) is issued by the U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI). The mission of this contract is to support the Army's evolving requirements for Tactical Engagement Simulation Systems (TESS) through modifications and procurement of new systems. The goal is to ensure compatibility, commonality, and interoperability with current TESS and associated platforms throughout their acquisition life cycle.

Work Details
The BEST MAC consists of two lots:
1. **Lot 1**: Modify existing Tactical Engagement Simulation Systems (TESS) to extend product life and meet evolving Army requirements. This includes providing Service Life Extension Programs (SLEP) to ensure compatibility with current systems.
2. **Lot 2**: Procure new TESS similar to existing systems in the field today, focusing on modernization in response to Army Force Structure changes.

Total Estimated Not-to-Exceed Ceiling Amount for all contracts awarded under the BEST MAC Lot 1 & Lot 2 is $921,153,455.00. The contracts will be Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contracts with a 10-year ordering period. The guaranteed minimum amount for each IDIQ contract is $2,000 at the time of initial award.

Delivery Orders (DOs) will be issued based on immediate needs during the ordering period for Hardware, Software updates, Installation & Fielding, Training, and data delivery. DO CLINs may include Travel, CDRLs, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP). FOB: Destination.

Place of Performance
The performance will primarily take place at various locations as specified in individual Delivery Orders.
