Brand New Low Speed Vehicles

Background
The U.S. Naval Support Activity (NAVUSPACT) Naples is seeking to procure fourteen new Low-Speed Vehicles (LSVs) for the Public Works Department (PWD). These vehicles are intended for on-base use and will support the Non-Tactical Vehicle and Equipment program, ensuring operational efficiency within the military installation.

Work Details
The contractor shall supply and deliver fourteen (14) new Low-Speed Vehicles that meet the following specifications:
- Quantity: 14 units
- Maximum Speed: 40 km/h (25 mph)
- Engine & Transmission: Internal combustion (Diesel or Unleaded), non-electric; Minimum Power: 4.5 kW (6 CV); Transmission: Automatic or CVT
- Chassis & Cabin: Metal construction; maximum vehicle length of 3650 mm; Seating for two (2) passengers, complete with windshield and side windows
- Cargo Area Dimensions: Length: 1600 mm | Width: 1400 mm | Height: 1300 mm
- Cargo Area Construction: Enclosed, alloy material with a minimum payload capacity of 250 kg
- Required Safety Features: Hydraulic braking system; Headlights, tail-lights, stop lights, turn signals; Windshield wipers & integrated ladder rack.

Additionally, all vehicles must be EU-specification models commonly sold and serviced within Italy. U.S.-specification vehicles are not authorized. Purchases must be made without VAT and Italian registration fees as they will be used exclusively on a military installation.

Period of Performance
Delivery of all fourteen (14) vehicles is required within ninety (90) calendar days from the date of contract award.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must ensure that the vehicles supplied are EU-specification models. U.S.-specification vehicles will not be accepted. Additionally, bidders should be aware that all purchases must be made without VAT and Italian registration fees.
