**BRAND NAME MANDATORY** Manual Pallet Trucks

Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head, Picatinny (NSWC ID PIC) G Department has a requirement to purchase four (4) Shipboard Style Manual Pallet Trucks, Model # 42-27-60XTSB for the transporting of mission critical ammunition and explosives aboard naval vessels. These Pallet Trucks transport ammunition to and from the ships gun systems. These items are of vital importance to the movement and transportation of munitions aboard the LCS 38 and the DDG-131. Without these items, munitions and ordinance will not be able to move on the ship meaning that the vessel is non-mission capable.

Work Details
The Contractor shall supply four (4) Shipboard Style Manual Pallet Trucks, Model # 42-27-60XTSB, Purchase Description (PD) NAVICP-M PD-1900 of 23 Apr 07 attached. In addition to marking requirements in PD, Contractor shall mark (Black Stencils) on the sides of each pallet truck with 'HS' and the following USN Registration Numbers: DDG 133 - 1900-02717, DDG 133 - 1900-02718, DDG 135 - 1900-02719, DDG 135 - 1900-02720.
Specific features of the model number include: Length of forks 42”, Width across forks 27”, Inside Dimension 11”, Individual Fork Width 8”, Lowered Height 3.25”, Raised Height 7.5”, Steel Steer Wheels Tandem Steel Load Wheels, Capacity 6,000 Lbs., Deadman Brake, Lifting Points, Grounding Straps.
