Description

SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS NOTICE IS MARKET RESEARCH TO SUPPORT INCLUSION OF SOLE SOURCE (BRAND NAME) SPECIFICATIONS IN A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT JBE088, JOINT INTEGRATED TEST AND TRAINING CENTER (JITTC), JBER, ALASKA - AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.

The U.S. Army Engineer District, Alaska intends to specify the below listed items as part of a larger construction contract to be executed on JBER, Alaska. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement, for the specific items listed below, based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Reference FAR 6.302-1(c), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements - Application for brand name descriptions.

Items:
1. Federal Signal Mass Notification Panel. The building mass notification systems (BMNS) is required to interface with the JBER Federal Signal Remote Mass Notification ACU's unit for emergency broadcasts in all facilities on JBER. JBER has standardized the systems on the installation, requiring that all new construction specify installation of only Federal Signal Mass Notification Panel.

2. Monaco Model MAAP-X Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP). Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson has standardized the systems on the installation, requiring that all new construction specify installation of only the Monaco Model MAAP-X.

THIS NOTICE IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No solicitation will be available as these sole source items will be incorporated into the specifications of a FY25 solicitation for a new Military Construction (MILCON) project on JBER, Alaska. Vendors who offer the above items which can meet all of teh above functional criteria are invited to respond to this notice. Responses must include the following information:

1. Identification of the manufacturer's name, address, and country of product manufacture. 2. Fully detailed specification sheets. 3. Narrative addressing how your product meets the salient features listed above.
