Braider Machine Maintenance

The solicitation for this progect is expected to be issued approximately 29 January 2018. The date and time will be identified in the solicitation.
The contractor shall provide the labor, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to upgrade/overhaul, calibrate, and repair four (4) vertical Wardwell Braiders located in building 940 on Kadena Air Base, Japan. The contractor will upgrade the motor and controls on one (1) Wardwell Braider model B10-48H, replace all the carrier springs on one (1) Wardwell Braider model B10-48H, two (2) Wardwell Braiders model B10-32H, and one (1) Wardwell Braider model B10-24H, test each braider to identify any and all failures. In addition, the contractor shall notify the Government Technical Point of Contact (GTPOC) within 15 business days prior to arriving at Kadena Air Base in order to receive a Security Letter for base access. Further details are included in the SOW.
