Description

The purpose of this Request For Information is to assess industry capability to provide Field Support to Project Management Mounted Armored Vehicle (PM MAV), Bradley Fighting Vehicle (BFV) Family of Vehicles (FoV) and the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) FOV and all derivatives thereof.

Background
The United States Government (USG) is seeking to assess industry capabilities to provide Field Support for the Project Management Mounted Armored Vehicle (PM MAV), specifically for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle (BFV) Family of Vehicles (FoV) and the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) FoV.

This Request For Information (RFI) aims to gather insights that will influence the acquisition strategy for these programs. The RFI is not a solicitation and does not obligate the USG to issue a formal proposal.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for various tasks including:
1. Equipment Training: Conducting New Equipment Training (NET) or Displaced Equipment Training (DET) with certified instructors, developing training materials, and conducting risk analyses prior to training events.
2. Deprocessing: Operating a deprocessing team at designated sites, ensuring vehicles are ready for operation, conducting inspections, and managing vehicle repair parts.
3. Field Service Representatives (FSRs): Providing experienced FSRs for maintenance, operations, troubleshooting, and data collection related to combat vehicle systems. FSRs must be proficient in military automotive maintenance and provide technical advice to users.
4. Repair: Performing necessary repairs to restore vehicles to operational condition.
5. Vehicle Maintenance: Heavy equipment mechanics will analyze malfunctions, perform repairs, and ensure equipment efficiency.
6. Field Modification Work Orders (MWOs): Coordinating and applying MWOs for changes beyond routine maintenance while maintaining accurate records of asset configurations.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily take place within the Contiguous United States (CONUS), at various fielding, post, installation sites, or central staging sites as designated by the USG.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate capabilities in providing NET services, managing deprocessing activities, and employing qualified FSRs with relevant certifications and experience in military automotive maintenance. Additionally, bidders should have knowledge of Army Export Control Act regulations and experience with logistics applications relevant to military operations.
