Background
The project involves maintenance painting of below deck structural steel members at the Bourne Bridge over the Cape Cod Canal in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts. The bridge is a seven span structural steel vehicular traffic truss bridge spanning across the cape cod canal with a total length of about 2,400 feet. The bridge carries four lanes of vehicular traffic, two lanes in each direction into and off Cape Cod. The center span arch truss is over water while remaining six spans are mostly over land.

Work Details
The work includes maintenance painting of various components such as underside of bridge deck expansion joint painting, underside of deck stay-in-place (SIP) forms removal, maintenance painting of bridge spans 4, 6, and 7.
The estimated cost of the work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
The Contractor shall begin performance within 15 calendar days and complete it within 600 calendar days after receiving award notice to proceed.

Period of Performance
Performance period is within 600 calendar days after receiving award notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Bourne Bridge over the Cape Cod Canal in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts.
