OPTIONAL BOOKEYE REMOTE INSTALLATION & TRAINING. INCLUDES UP TO 2 HOURS FOR REMOTE INSTALLATION HELP AND TRAINING. The functionality and features of this scanner are critical requirements for preserving books and sensitive historical documents. The V-book style scanner allows the book to lay open in a V-shaped cradle with the scanner mounted above. It does not touch the book, and all the operator has to do is turn pages. This is very important as the books we scan are old, some dating back to the 1800s; as such are fragile, easily damaged and are also of historical significance.
