Bone Density Unit Repair and Maintenance of GE Equipment for White Earth Health Clinic

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE SOLE SOURCE AWARD

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), Bemidji Area intends to award a Firm Fixed Priced Contract on a sole source basis to Alpha Source, for White Earth Health Center, Ogema, MN. The anticipated period of performance will include a base plus 4 option years.

The sole source action will be issued under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a) - only one source reasonably available due to GE Healthcare BMD's equipment is propriety, Alpha Source is the exclusive authorized source for maintenance/updates, or modifications and upgrades to their system(s). GE's warranty is void if the Equipment or Software has been installed or modified other than as authorized in writing by GE.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621999 All Other Miscellaneous Ambulatory Health Care Services.
