Bomber Armament Tester (BAT)   3

This is a notice of intent that AFLCMC/WNKA Contracting Office, in conjunction with the Agile Combat Support Directorate's Automatic Test Systems division, anticipates issuing a request for proposal for a research and development effort to design, develop, integrate, test, manufacture, and sustain a common tester for armament systems on the B-2A, B-1B, and B-52H platforms capable of testing on-aircraft Stores Management Systems, and Line Replaceable Units both on-and off-aircraft. The Bomber Armament Tester (BAT) System shall include a core tester common to all three platforms and Test Program Sets (TPSs) that are platform-specific.

The request for proposal will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (Fedbizopps.com) website. The specific date of that posting has not yet been determined.

NOTE: RFI number RFI-14-R-BAT has been superseded by RFP number FA8533-16-R-0001 as we transition from information gathering toward the release of the Request for Proposal at a date yet to be determined. All future postings for this effort will be done under this solicitation number.

However, the official synopsis was posted and should have been added to this pre-solicitation notice. Instead, it was inadvertently created as a combination synopsis/presolicitation.
