Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking quotations for construction services to repair the Boise District Equipment Shed roof, which was damaged during a recent wind event.

The BLM's mission is to manage public lands for multiple uses while ensuring the health of the land for future generations. This contract aims to restore the structural integrity of the equipment shed located at the BLM Boise District Wareyard in Idaho.

Work Details
The contractor will perform selective demolition and removal of existing roof materials, including 4 damaged trusses, and will fabricate and install 16 new wood trusses that match the existing profile and geometry. The work includes:
- Installation of new hurricane truss ties on both new and existing trusses.
- Installation of new ribbed metal roofing, ridge cap, and trim that meet wind uplift performance requirements.
- Securement of existing east wall siding to wood purlins and new truss.
- Compliance with applicable codes, including the 2024 IEBC Chapter 4 for repairs and guidelines for wind retrofitting.
- Submission of engineered shop drawings, product submittals for roofing materials, a work plan for demolition and repairs, a waste management plan, and a construction schedule.
