BMDO Antelope Fuelbreak Herbicide FY26

Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), in collaboration with the Wildland Fire Service, is seeking contractor services for vegetation treatment on selected sites administered by the Battle Mountain District. The goal of this contract is to apply herbicides in specific locations near Antelope Butte and Table Mountain in Nevada to control invasive and/or noxious weeds on BLM-administered lands. This project aims to reduce hazardous fine fuel loading, prevent the spread of wildfire, create a safer environment for fire personnel, and improve the overall health of sagebrush and woodland ecological sites.

Work Details
The work consists of applying contractor-furnished herbicide and adjuvant within defined project areas totaling at least 7,649 acres, with an option to extend to 9,300 acres. The application will occur in fire-impacted areas without any ground disturbance allowed. The contractor must ensure that all equipment, labor, supplies, and materials required for the job are provided. Specific tasks include:

1. Herbicide application without ground disturbance.
2. Completion of a Pesticide Application Record (PAR) within 24 hours of application.
3. Submission of PARs to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) within 3 business days post-project completion.
4. Adherence to specifications outlined in the Statement of Work.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet the following requirements:
- Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA)
- Possession of a current Nevada Professional Applicator License (Agricultural Ground B2 for ground-based herbicide application or Category A for aerial application).
- Demonstration of technical capability through a proposed timeline, number of employees/crews, acres treated per day, type of equipment used, quality control plan, safety plan addressing pesticide safety and accidental spills, GPS data collection experience, and identification of key personnel with relevant experience.
