2026 WRFO LEE FIRE TREATMENTS BASE YEAR
Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) White River Field Office (WRFO) has a requirement for the Lee Fire Weed Spraying project. The mission of the BLM is to manage public lands for multiple uses while ensuring the health and productivity of these lands. This contract aims to address the rehabilitation of approximately 138,000 acres affected by the Lee Fire by managing noxious weeds through mapping and treatment, which is crucial for preventing their establishment and spread in the burn area.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, herbicides, adjuvants, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items required to inventory and treat List A and List B noxious weeds within the Lee Fire burn scar.

The contract includes 45 crew days (8-10 hours per day) dedicated to patrolling and treating identified routes for noxious weeds. The contractor must obtain permission from private landowners where necessary and secure a pesticide use proposal (PUP) for any herbicides used. All herbicides must be approved for use on BLM lands. The contractor is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental considerations during spraying operations.

Period of Performance
Base Year: August 01, 2026 – July 31, 2027; Option Year 1: August 01, 2027 – July 31, 2028; Option Year 2: August 01, 2028 – July 31, 2029; Option Year 3: August 01, 2029 – July 31, 2030; Option Year 4: August 01, 2030 – July 31, 2031.

Place of Performance
Treatments will occur on BLM lands within the Lee Fire Scar in Colorado.

Bidder Requirements
