Description

This action was awarded as an 8(a) Sole Source Set-Aside under the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act.

The contractor shall furnish all parts, material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the work for Building 405 Repair Lobby and Corridors. The work shall include the following requirements listed in the specific requirements. The contractor shall assure the attached waste summary checklist and DD Form 1354 are completed within three (3) working days of place in service date and submitted to USACE and Kirtland AFB Real Property office to get it staffed to the BCE for signature, at the conclusion of the project.

2. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

All item listed below can be referenced in the Not For Construction Drawings.

  1. Demolition
    1. Contractor must abate flooring.
    2. Contractor must demolish existing flooring and rubber wall base.
    3. Contractor must remove existing water fountain.
    4. Contractor must remove existing push to exit button.
    5. Contractor must remove existing abandoned power and comm.
    6. Contractor must remove existing door, frame, hardware and motion detector.
  2. Construction
    1. Contractor must provide and install new flooring and rubber wall base.
    2. Contractor must furr out ever existing CMU walls in entry vestibule and Corridor A.
    3. Contractor must tape, float, texture and paint new gyp. Board walls in vestibule and Corridor A.
    4. Contractor must paint existing CMU walls in Corridors A1, B and B1.
    5. Contractor must surface mount existing electrical and comm.
    6. Contractor must provide and install new filtered water fountain with bottle filler.
    7. Contractor must provide five (5) additional filters for new water fountain.
    8. Contractor must provide and install new cell phone storage locker.
    9. Contractor must provide and install new furniture.
    10. Contractor must provide and install new door, frame and hardware.
    11. Contractor must paint existing door and door frames.
    12. Contractor must move and reinstall existing lockers.
