Work Details
The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, logistics, materials, transportation, and climate-controlled storage facilities necessary to:
1. Disassemble, clean, inventory, transport, store, and return/reinstall approximately 8,313 government-owned dormitory furniture items located at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston.
2. Conduct a joint pre-move inventory and condition assessment with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to document any pre-existing damage.
3. Establish secure staging zones for operations that do not obstruct emergency paths or concurrent activities.
4. Sanitize all furniture surfaces before disassembly and ensure that items are not stored in a soiled state.
5. Account for all disassembled hardware by sealing it in labeled bags attached to the parent furniture component.
6. Use appropriate material handling equipment for vertical egress across multi-story buildings while preventing damage during transit.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of three years starting from the contract award date with specific milestones including complete removal of all items by October 15, 2026.
