Description

The United States Coast Guard is seeking a qualified vendor to Preserve Davits and Shaw Box Electric Hoists onboard the Coast Guard Cutter Wyaconda in ST Louis, MO. Work to be performed in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. Items to include the blasting and painting of (2) Boat Boom Davit, (2) Shaw Box electric hoists, (1) Capstan deck plate, (1) Capstan barrel, (2) Capstan guards at Contractor's facility in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). Please note this requirement will have specific Quality Assurance and INSPECTION Points throughout the requirement . All Inspections will be conducted with an appointed USCG personnel.

A site visit is encouraged.

Vendors are to be registered and current in SAMS. GOV with UEI.

Federal Acquistion Regulations Clauses and Wage Rates are included and applicable.

Please fill out blocks 17a thru 31c on Standard Form 1449 if you will be submitting quote.

All applicable paperwork is Attached to this solicitation.

This requirement will be awarded to lowest price.

Background
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking a qualified vendor to preserve davits and Shaw Box electric hoists onboard the Coast Guard Cutter Wyaconda. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper maintenance and preservation of critical equipment used by the Coast Guard, thereby supporting their mission of maritime safety and security.

Work Details
The contractor is required to perform the following tasks:

- Media blast and paint two (2) boat boom davits
- Media blast and paint two (2) Shaw Box electric hoists
- Media blast and paint one (1) capstan deck plate
- Media blast and paint one (1) capstan barrel
- Media blast and paint two (2) capstan guards
- Media blast and paint other miscellaneous parts at the contractor’s facility.

The contractor shall supply all necessary materials, labor, and transportation to and from the Coast Guard facility. Specific requirements include conducting work in accordance with SFLC Standard Specifications, ensuring that all work is performed indoors where ambient conditions can be controlled to avoid delays due to weather. The contractor must also fill out an Ambient Conditions Report during paint application as per Standard Specification 6310_STD. Quality assurance inspections will be conducted by appointed USCG personnel throughout the project.

Period of Performance
Work is scheduled to begin on April 2, 2025, and must be completed by April 30, 2025. Work must commence on the start date unless otherwise coordinated with the project manager.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the CG Schlimme Industrial Facility located at 100 Arsenal Street, Building 17, St. Louis, MO 63118.
