Background
The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) is issuing this solicitation for the upgrade and repair of the Fire Alarm Suppression System at the Fort Peck Juvenile Detention Center in Poplar, Montana. This project aims to enhance safety measures within the facility, ensuring compliance with current fire safety standards. The contract is set aside for Indian Economic Enterprises (IEEs), promoting economic development within Native American communities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for upgrading and repairing the existing Fire Alarm Suppression System, including all associated components such as heat and smoke detectors. The work must be performed in accordance with the attached Statement of Work and any additional attachments provided in the solicitation.

The contractor is required to begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving the award and complete it within 90 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is 90 days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
Fort Peck Juvenile Detention Center, Poplar, Montana.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must submit a completed Section K - Representations, Certifications, and Other Statements of Offerors or Respondents along with the Indian Affairs Indian Economic Enterprise Representation Form. Additionally, bidders must furnish any required performance and payment bonds within 10 calendar days after award.
