This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This project is for Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area - Cyclic Clearing of Leatherwood Road Corridor, Scott County, TN.
This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2026-01.

Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the Cyclic Clearing of Leatherwood Road Corridor within the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area located in Scott County, TN.

The mission of the NPS is to preserve the natural and cultural resources of the parks while providing recreational opportunities for visitors. The goal of this contract is to ensure safe and accessible roadways through vegetation clearing and hazard tree removal.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supervision, and materials necessary to perform vegetation clearing and hazard tree removal within the designated roadway corridor. This includes ensuring compliance with safety standards and traffic control as per the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).

The contractor must demonstrate adequate resources, including equipment and qualified personnel, to meet the corridor clearance requirements specified in the Statement of Work.
