Big Joe Furnace Parts Loader

Background
The Air Force Sustainment Center’s Maintenance Contracting Branch is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of a Big Joe Furnace Parts Loader. The contract aims to support the operational capabilities of Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, by providing essential equipment that meets specific operational requirements. This acquisition is designated as a 100% Small Business Set-aside, meaning only small businesses are eligible to submit offers.

Work Details
The contract involves the supply of one (1) Big Joe WS40 or equivalent parts loader. The specifications for the loader include:
- Inverted design with forks wider than straddle
- Rail guidance on floor and equipment
- Horizontal wheels on the sides of the left straddle with an outer diameter (OD) of 8 inches and a rail-to-rail guide measurement of 8.25 inches on the floor
- Capacity: 4,000 lbs with a 500 lb load at a 54-inch load center
- Fork dimensions: 84 inches in length, lowered height approximately 43 inches from the floor, lift height at least 12 inches above lowered height (60-inch mast acceptable), solid bar forks measuring 3 x 3 inches, OD of forks less than 48 inches, ID between forks greater than 30 inches
- Straddle dimensions: 70 inches in length with an ID of 40 inches and an OD of 48 inches (4-inch width for each straddle leg).
