April 17 2025: Amend 2 to Solicitation 70Z08525RLREP0008 BERTHOLF FY25 DS

The subject solicitation is amended as follows and includes SF Form 30 (Amendment 2):

1.) Upated the threshold under FAR 52.216-19, section b2.

2.) Corrected the FAR reference under Section M, subsection ii(a) by removing reference of FAR 15.

3.) Corrected the note under Section M Technical Capability table B.

4.) Corrects the Specification reference under Section H, Special Contract Requirements, Hazardous Waste by changing it to USCG SFLC Standard Specs 0000.

All previous terms and conditions remains unchanged.

April 15 2025: Amend 1 to Solicitation 70Z08525RLREP0008 BERTHOLF FY25 DS

The subject solicitation is amended adding two (2) attachments as follows:

1. ) SF Form 30 - Amendment 1

2.) Attachment K - Questions and Answers BERTHOLF DS FQ4 FY25

All previous terms and conditions remains unchanged.

The Contractor shall perform dockside repairs to the United States Coast Guard Cutter (USCGC) BERTHOLF (WMSL- 750) in accordance with this solicitation, specifications and with each issued Task Order. Scope of work shall include all ship maintenance repair, and associated support work as required to repair USCGC BERTHOLF, to be specified via task order. Ordering period for this contract will be from date of award through 18 November 2025. First task order's period of performance will be from 26 August 2025 through 18 November 2025. Place of performance will be at the cutter's home port in Alameda, California. Funds will be awarded with each task order and will be subject to the availability of funds. See ATTACHMENT B - Pricing Schedule USCGC BERTHOLF (WMSL-750).

Background
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking a contractor to perform dockside repairs on the Cutter USCGC BERTHOLF (WMSL-750). The mission of the USCG is to ensure maritime safety, security, and environmental stewardship. This contract aims to maintain the operational readiness of the cutter through necessary repairs and maintenance as specified in task orders issued during the contract period.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide dockside repair services which include all ship maintenance repair and associated support work required for the USCGC BERTHOLF. Specific tasks may include:
- Fire Prevention measures
- Inspection and testing of circuit breakers (400 Hz and draw out)
- Stern boat launch and recovery operations
- Inspection and repair of cargo handling elevators
- Cleaning and inspection of various tanks including high purity water, oily waste, MP fuel stowage, aviation fuel service, and aviation fuel stowage.
- Preservation of JP-5 tanks (optional task).
The scope of work will be detailed in each issued Task Order. The contract is structured as a Firm Fixed Price agreement.

Period of Performance
The ordering period for this contract will commence from the date of award through November 18, 2025. The first task order's performance period will be from August 26, 2025, through November 18, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the cutter's home port located in Alameda, California.
