Bend, OR VA Janitorial Services for Clinic   3

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for janitorial services at the Bend Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), also known as the Robert D. Maxwell VA Clinic, located in Bend, Oregon. This contract is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and aims to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff at the clinic, which serves both medical and administrative functions.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, tools, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to perform janitorial services at the Bend CBOC. The facility spans approximately 26,000 square feet and operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Key tasks include:

- Daily cleaning of restrooms, including mopping floors, disinfecting toilets and urinals, cleaning wash basins, restocking supplies, and maintaining overall cleanliness.

- Daily cleaning of entrance areas, lobbies, corridors, and waiting areas with vacuuming carpets and dusting surfaces.

- All cleaning must adhere to The Joint Commission standards and Infection Control requirements.

- The contractor is responsible for maintaining an adequate workforce to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. Cleaning tasks are to be performed after hours between 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM unless otherwise coordinated with the Clinic Manager. Consumables such as toilet paper and paper towels must be provided by the contractor.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract includes a base year from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026, with four additional option years extending through September 30, 2030.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Bend Community Based Outpatient Clinic located at 2650 Northeast Courtney Drive, Bend, OR 97701.
