Behavioral Health Services Information System (BHSIS) - Small Business Sources Sought   3

Project Description: The purpose of the Behavioral Health Services Information System (BHSIS) is to help support the collection and reporting of substance abuse and mental health treatment services. BHSIS is the major national source of service and program administered by SAMHSA's Center for Behavioral Health Statistics and Quality (CBHSQ). The collection and reporting of service and program data depend upon the capability of providers and State agencies to collect and report such data, and on the uniformity and standardization of data content within and across data reporters. The BHSIS contract is comprised of six main components to help in the efforts to collect, manage and analyze the data. The components include; (1) the Inventory of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Treatment Facilities (I-TF) formerly known as Inventory of Behavioral Health Services (I-BHS)), (2) the National Survey on Substance Abuse Treatment Services (N-SSATS), (3) the National Mental Health Services Survey, (4) the Treatment Episode Dataset (TEDS), the Mental Health Treatment Episode Data Set (MH-TEDS) and Mental Health Client Level Data (MH-CLD), (5) the Uniform Reporting System (URS), and the (6) Treatment Locator.
