The purpose of this amendment is to:

Extend the deadline for offers to 5:00PM Mountain Time on 04/10/2025.

Update the period of performance start date to 04/21/2025.

Provide an updated SF-1449 with updated provisions and clauses via Solicitation 1282B125Q0020 0001. This version replaces the original SF-1449.

Provide answers to questions.

Remove Mobilization from the line items and schedule of items.

Provide an updated schedule of items via Attachment 001 - Schedule of Items - Version 2. This version replaces the original schedule of items.

Please provide a signed copy of this amendment at the time of proposal. Acknowledgment of this amendment is required in order for the contractor to be considered responsible.

Background
The contract is issued by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) for the Bearlodge Ranger District Office located in the Black Hills National Forest. The mission of the USDA is to provide leadership on food, agriculture, natural resources, and related issues based on public policy, the best available science, and effective management.

The goal of this contract is to replace two failing furnaces in the Bearlodge Ranger District Office to ensure a safe and comfortable working environment.

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and other incidentals necessary to successfully remove and replace two furnaces at the Bearlodge Ranger District office. Specific tasks include:
- Disconnecting gas, electrical connections, and air ducts from furnace #1 and furnace #3.
- Removing and disposing of furnace #1 and furnace #3.
- Installing a 120 MBH 80% Single Stage Non-condensing furnace with ECM Motor and LP Conversion kit in the location of furnace #1.
- Installing a 100 MBH 80% Single Stage Non-condensing furnace with ECM Motor and LP Conversion kit in the location of furnace #3.
- Connecting gas lines, electrical connections, air ducts, and venting to both new furnaces.
- Performing combustion tests on both furnaces to ensure proper operation.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from April 7, 2025, to May 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Bearlodge Ranger District Office located at 101 South 21st St, PO Box 680, Sundance, WY 82729.
