BDO BLM FY25 FENCE REPAIR Sources Sought

Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Idaho is seeking small business sources capable of providing fence inventory and repair services. The goal of this contract is to maintain and repair fencing in the Paddock East and West, Lava work area, and Mineral Work area near Emmett, Idaho.

This requirement is currently loosely defined, and the Government is soliciting feedback from potential vendors to address any concerns or specific information needed for a competitive offer.

Work Details
The scope of work includes a variety of tasks related to fence inventory and repair. Key tasks include:
- Inspecting existing fences and producing a report of required repairs for Government review;
- Complete installation of barbed wire fences (3-wire and 4-wire);
- Installation of barbed wire gates;
- Installation of steel pipe corner panels (three-post, four-post, five-post);
- Installation of end panels (two-post, three-post);
- Installation of stress panels;
- Rock crib installation;
- Wire stay installations;
- Single wire installations with clipping and stretching;
- Steel 'T' line post installations (new and existing);
- Structure repairs including wood brace rail installations;
- Re-stretching, re-clipping, splicing wire;
- Complete fence removal; and
- Wildlife flagging installation.

Materials will be provided by the Government.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period from April 1, 2025, to November 1, 2025, covering approximately 214 days.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations for the construction projects include Paddock East (~99 miles), Paddock West (~95 miles), and Mineral & Lava areas (~31.3 miles) near Emmett, Idaho.
