BB Gate Attendant Services

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Fort Worth District, is issuing this solicitation for Gate Attendant Services at Benbrook Lake. The mission of the USACE is to provide vital public engineering services in peace and war to strengthen the nation's security, energize the economy, and reduce risks from disasters.

The goal of this contract is to ensure effective management and operation of park facilities, enhancing visitor experience while maintaining safety and compliance with regulations.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform Gate Attendant Services as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Specific tasks include:
1) Administering user fees and inspections;
2) Managing campsite reservations;
3) Overseeing group shelters;
4) Monitoring camping status;
5) Conducting park inspections;
6) Providing visitor assistance;
7) Addressing disturbances;
8) Handling complaints;
9) Managing lost and found items;
10) Ensuring contractor identification and personal appearance standards are met;
11) Cooperating with others in the park environment;
12) Maintaining living areas and gatehouses;
13) Enforcing no soliciting policies;
14) Prohibiting weapons on site;
15) Enforcing alcohol policies;
16) Managing government property responsibly; and
17) Monitoring absenteeism. The contractor must pass a criminal background check and ensure that all personnel are qualified for their roles.

Period of Performance
The contract will consist of a twelve-month base period starting from April 1, 2025, through September 27, 2025, with an option for an additional twelve-month period.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Benbrook Lake locations including South Holiday Park and other designated areas within the Fort Worth District.
