Basic Military Training (BMT), Dining and Classroom Facility (DCF) 4   3

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has been tasked with soliciting and awarding a Design-Bid-Build contract for the Basic Military Training, Dining and Classroom Facility #4 at Joint Base San Antonio - Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

This facility is intended to support the training of Airmen and will include essential amenities such as dining areas and classrooms. The goal of this contract is to provide a complete and fully operational facility that meets the requirements set forth by the Department of Defense.

Work Details
The construction project consists of a multi-story facility featuring:
- Drilled pier foundation
- Concrete floor slabs
- Structural steel framing
- Masonry walls
- Standing seam metal roof system
- An elevator

The facility will include:
- A kitchen and dining areas for residents of two Airmen Training Complexes
- Multiple classrooms.

Additionally, the project encompasses all necessary site improvements including utilities, pavements, communications systems, and environmental remediation activities such as asbestos removal. The facility will be designed in accordance with Department of Defense Unified Facilities Criteria 1-200-01.

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance is expected to extend until May 2025.

Place of Performance
Joint Base San Antonio - Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
