Base Yr Water Treatment Contract

Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking to procure drinking water and wastewater chemicals for Everglades National Park. The goal of this contract is to ensure the effective treatment of drinking water and wastewater, which is critical for the park's operations. The service provider will be responsible for supplying, transporting, and delivering the requested treatment chemicals in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Work Details
The contract includes the supply of various chemicals essential for water treatment processes at Everglades National Park. The specific products and their approximate annual quantities are as follows:
- Sodium Hypochlorite 12% solution NSF 60: 7000 gallons (disinfectant)
- Micro C 2000: 4400 gallons (carbon source for denitrification)
- Aluminum Sulfate 50% solution: 3500 gallons (phosphorus removal)
- Sodium Hydroxide 50% solution: 3000 gallons (pH adjustment)
- Clear Flow Pt 7036 or Aqua gold 170: 100 gallons (corrosion protection)

The service provider must also supply holding tanks and manage any spills during transportation and delivery, ensuring that all chemicals meet EPA and NSF standards.

Period of Performance
Base Year: August 1, 2026 – July 31, 2027; Option Year One: August 1, 2027 – July 31, 2028; Option Year Two: August 1, 2028 – July 31, 2029; Option Year Three: August 1, 2029 – July 31, 2030; Option Year Four: August 1, 2030 – July 31, 2031.

Place of Performance
Everglades National Park, specifically at the Pine Island and Flamingo Districts.
