Background
The contract is issued by the United States Army Garrison (USAG) Stuttgart, which is responsible for providing support and services to military personnel and their families. The mission of USAG Stuttgart includes maintaining facilities and infrastructure to ensure operational readiness and quality of life for service members.

The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive base maintenance services across multiple locations within the Stuttgart area, including four bases, a military airfield, a golf course, and various government housing areas.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide base maintenance services that include:
1. Facilities repair and maintenance of all government buildings and structures, including on-demand and preventative maintenance.
2. Grounds maintenance, which encompasses landscaping, lawn care, and upkeep of outdoor spaces.
3. Snow and ice removal from roads, walkways, and other surfaces to ensure safety during winter months.
4. Maintenance of roads including repair of potholes, surface degradation, and shoulder maintenance.
5. Change of occupancy maintenance for government housing turnover to prepare units for new occupants.
6. Minor construction projects as needed to improve or repair facilities.
7. Establishment of a service center to receive all incoming service requests for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW). Specific tasks include sweeping paved surfaces, manual cleaning inaccessible areas, vegetation control, parking lot painting and maintenance, sign inspection and maintenance, bridge maintenance, storm water discharge system maintenance, airfield pavement maintenance, wash rack inspections, and compliance with environmental regulations.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations within the USAG Stuttgart area of responsibility including four military bases with government housing areas, one military airfield, one golf course, and a supply facility/warehouse.
