Base Operations Support Services on the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, Illinois   2

Background
This is a non-personal services contract to provide Base Operation and Support Services for the U.S. Army Garrison Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, Illinois. The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers. The Contractor shall perform to the standards specified in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary as defined in this PWS.

Work Details
The tasks include but are not limited to Grounds Maintenance, Pavement Clearance, Facility Maintenance Vertical, Facility Maintenance Army Family Housing, Facility Maintenance Horizontal, Pest Management Operations, Hydroelectric Plant Operations and Maintenance, Bridges Operation and Maintenance and Unscheduled Services. The work also involves coordinating with DPW WRD for work requirements and timelines.

Period of Performance
The proposed contract will be for one base year and four option years, with a six-month option to extend services IAW 52.217-8.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed throughout the entire area occupied by RIA and at any pertinent locations in and around RIA.
