Base Operations Support Services For NSA Annapolis and US Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland

Background
The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Atlantic is seeking to identify eligible small and socio-economic small business firms with the capacity, experience, and interest in competing for the Base Operations Support (BOS) Services Contract. The contract will be performed at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Annapolis, Maryland, including the United States Naval Academy. This notice serves as a market survey for written information only and is not a solicitation or request for proposals.

Work Details
The work will be accomplished under an Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract emphasizing preventative maintenance with firm-fixed priced Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) that include Recurring Work and Non-Recurring Work Items. The BOS recurring work includes providing all labor, management, supervision, quality control, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to perform facility support services. Specific tasks may include:

- General Information Management and Administration
- Facility Support (Facility Management and Facility Investment)
- Pest Control
- Integrated Solid Waste Management (ISWM)
- Pavement Clearance
- Special Events
- Utilities Management (including Electrical, Natural Gas, Wastewater, Steam, Water, Chillers)
- Transportation.

Non-recurring work will involve task orders for fixed-price pre-priced contract line items or fixed-price negotiated labor and materials for services exceeding recurring services.

Period of Performance
If awarded, the contract will consist of a twelve (12) month base period with potential extensions including six (6) one-year option periods and three (3) six-month option periods.
