Background
The U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), Atlantic is issuing this solicitation for Base Operations Support (BOS) Services at the U.S. Naval Air Station (NAS) Sigonella, located in Sicily, Italy.

The mission of NAVFAC is to provide facilities engineering and support services to the Navy and other Department of Defense agencies. The goal of this contract is to ensure efficient and effective operations at NAS Sigonella through comprehensive support services.

Work Details
The contract encompasses a range of tasks under the Performance Work Statement (PWS), which includes:
1. Management and Administration
2. Family Housing
3. Unaccompanied Housing
4. Facility Management
5. Facility Investment
6. Custodial Services
7. Pest Control
8. Integrated Solid Waste Management (ISWM)
9. Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping
10. Pavement Clearance
11. Utility Management, including Electrical, Natural Gas, Wastewater, and Water services
12. Transportation services
13. Environmental services.

The contractor will be responsible for both recurring and non-recurring work items as detailed in the contract documents.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will span multiple years with specific task orders issued as needed, subject to funding availability.
