Background
The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), Atlantic, has issued a solicitation notice for Base Operations Support (BOS) Services at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Chesapeake Bay Detachment (CBD), Chesapeake Beach, Maryland; the Navy Dock Fishing Creek, Chesapeake Beach, Maryland; and a Remote Facility in Tilghman Island, Maryland. The solicitation is an Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm-Fixed Priced (FFP), performance-based type contract for both Recurring Work and Non-Recurring Work items.

Work Details
The contract includes tasks such as facility management, facility investment, custodial services, pest control, grounds maintenance and landscaping, pavement clearance, utilities management, electrical work, wastewater management, water management, and environmental services. The contract also requires reporting of work performed by Contract Line Items (CLINs)/Sub-Line Items (SLINs) identified in the schedule and any accompanying Exhibits with Exhibit Line Items (ELINs) to be submitted monthly.

Period of Performance
The contract contains provisions for one base period of twelve months and includes up to six one-year option periods and three six-month option periods.

The services will be performed at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Chesapeake Bay Detachment (CBD), Chesapeake Beach, Maryland; the Navy Dock Fishing Creek, Chesapeake Beach, Maryland; and a Remote Facility in Tilghman Island, Maryland.
