Note: This procurement is an 8(a)Set-Aside with the caveat that State Licensing Agency, considered other than small
business, will be allowed to compete. Offers from the State Licensing Agencies (for Blind vendors) operating under authority
of the Randolph-Sheppard Act, 20 USC, 107(a-e), must be given a priority in accordance with regulations prescribed by the
Secretary of Education at 34 CFR 395.33.

Background
The U.S. Coast Guard Operational Logistics Command (LOG-9) is seeking to procure full food services for Base Ketchikan, AK. The goal of this contract is to ensure the provision of high-quality food services that meet the needs of the U.S. Coast Guard personnel stationed at this location.

The Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines the requirements and expectations for the contractor to deliver these services effectively and efficiently.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all necessary foodstuffs, personnel, management, supervision, materials, supplies, and other items required for Full Food Service at U.S. Coast Guard Base Ketchikan, AK. Key tasks include:
- Dining Facility Management
- Menu Development
- Food Purchasing, Preparation, Serving and Replenishment
- Maintenance of Beverage Bars and Self-Service Areas
- Cleaning Facilities, Equipment, and Utensils
- Clearing tables in CPO and Officer’s dining area
- Performing Cashier Services
- Inventory Control
- Quality Control
- Performing maintenance and minor repair of food service equipment
- Providing contingency cook/baker upon request.

Additionally, the Contractor must adhere to specific hours of operation for meal services during weekdays, weekends, and federal holidays. The Contractor is also responsible for management oversight through a designated Contract Manager who will be available for emergency situations 24/7.
