Background
The Department of Homeland Security, specifically the United States Coast Guard, is issuing this contract for shredding services at USCG Base Cape Cod. This base serves as a central hub for operations in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Due to the high volume of sensitive documents that require proper disposal, the Coast Guard seeks to establish a contract with a local vendor to meet these demands throughout 2025.

Work Details
The contractor is responsible for providing trained and qualified personnel along with any necessary tools or equipment, including satellite equipment for task completion. The specific tasks include servicing 19 64-gallon totes and 6 32-gallon consoles located at various buildings on Base Cape Cod. The vendor shall dispose of collected documents on a four-week basis during weekday hours from 0800 to 1500. All documents must be destroyed in accordance with NAID AAA standards unless otherwise specified. The contractor must ensure that all personnel comply with government regulations and maintain a professional appearance while on site. Key personnel must be approved by the government before any replacements are made, and employees must wear identification badges displaying their name, photo, clearance level, and badge expiration date.
