Background
The National Park Service is issuing this solicitation for the acquisition of Portable Safety Barrier Barricades for Bent's Old Fort National Historic Site in La Junta, Colorado. The purpose of this contract is to provide safety barriers that will prevent visitor access to the structure while a trail is being constructed around it. This project supports the agency's mission to preserve and protect national historic sites.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide approximately 1300 linear feet (LF) of Portable Safety Barrier Barricades, each 40 inches in height, made of galvanized steel. The specifications include:

- Bridged feet interlocking to create long runs
- A frame diameter of 1 and 1/4 inches with 5/8 inch uprights
- Removable feet for easy stacking

This requirement translates to approximately 162 free-standing barricades (8 feet x 40 inches).

Period of Performance
